Jay-Z "Can I Live" / What's That Sample?

Anyone know what the original song he got that melody sample from? It sounds like a trumpet or something a long those lines. It's a really tight sample, and I'd just love to hear the original.

Plus, maybe I could even re-chop it to make a Can I Live III.

So, anyone got a clue?
 
I can litterally play this song 50 times straight and not get tired of it.

Burt Bacharach and Hal David wrote the song, but the "Can I Live?" joint is sampled from Issaac Hayes' version of the song.
