Hi everyone,
I'm not sure if this is the right place, but the other day heard a new song by Skrillex called Ruffneck (Flex) which had a classical string sample. Ever since I heard it, I've been wanting to find and listen to the original track, it sounds so familiar. It's something from the 90s or maybe even late 80s, sounds kinda soapy or like something out of Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. This is the song in question. If anyone recognizes the string (instrumental) sample, would most appreciate it:
www . youtube . com /watch?v=kKi0WQx2kbg
It begins at roughly 0:15. I tried asking on a Dubstep forum and got caught in up some fanboy vs nonfanboy nonsense where it's cool to hate on Skrillex for some reason I can't fathom. So, I really don't care and want to avoid all that kind of nonsense. Just looking for the original sample track he sampled. If anyone recognizes it and can tell me where it's from would be most appreciated, or if anyone knows how I could get that information.
Thanks.
