Battery 2 with .sf2 (soundfont files)

Ok, as far as i know, Battery2 is supposed to support .sf2 soundfont files, but when i download some and try to open em in Battery2, i recieve and error message saying 'Error, could not open sample (unsupported format)'.

Im using Battery2 with FL Studio 6 at the moment, but the same thing happens i stand-alone mode.

Whats up with that? Anyone got any clues? tnx

have you tried the sf2 samples in any other sf2 compatible apps to make sure the sample files aren't corrupt in any way?

i don't use battery but it may be that you have to configure the preferences or settings to allow it to accept sf2 filetypes.

have you tried NI's website? others may have had similar problems.
