Did you ever come up with the DJ software review.... I would like to know how they are rated...

i'm a new DJ and i'm looking for a software which i can create my own remix's and everything... does anyone have any advice.... i have cooledit 2000 but i need the plug-ins... any other programs which can be suggested... thanks a lot...
J MoNkEy....

When you say create your own mixes are you refering to mixing MP3S or wanting a peice of software that you can record your mixes from?

For Mixing MP3S try any of the programs that are listed in this thread! My personal fav is Traktor DJ Studio. if you want software to record your mix from TT's then get something like Sound forge.

Use the search button! you will find your answer.

THANKS GUYs... i'm looking for something to mix MP3's and then burn so i can play on my TT's, also i'm looking for a program to make my own beats....

you are looking for something to mix MP3S so you can burn them to play on your TT's? you have a LP maker?

so you either want Final Scratch which allows you to use digitally time encoded LP's to mix your mp3s.

or

you want a a program to mix mp3s with
AND a program that you can record you own mix with using your tables.

To record your own mix using your TT's you will need something like Sound Forge. If you want to mix MP3S and record your mix you can use Traktor DJ Studio.

HOwever to burn your mix i would suggest using something like Nero

As for making beats you can try Acid Pro, Fruity loops, rebirth, reason.....

ye... i'm using fruity loops to make my own beats... the thing is that i have NO clue on how to use it... also i want to use MP3's i download and mix them, then from there burn them.... and ya i'm using NERO....

Ok then you best bet is Traktor then. there are oodles of others prgrams out there but i find Traktor to be the best.

How long have you been using fruity loops? IF you have not been using it for more then 2 months at lest then all i can say is practice practice practice.
