Hi. I have question.
Midi keyboard ctk700 can connect to pc via laptop usb port and midi out and in ports from keyboard. Right? No need usb port in keyboard?
But can I change my sounds bank, delete some old and add new one from pc? As ctk700 has only 200 sounds, which becomes boring.
If I can't do that. Then maybe I can play keyboard (then connected via cable) with pc sounds?

anyone? It's not only about casio ctk. Post any comments.

what is your actual question? what are you trying to do? use the casio keyboard as a midi controller? if it has midi i/o, yes, you can use it as a midi controller. that same midi i/o will allow you to sequence the casio sounds from your computer's soft sequencer. if i misunderstood, try typing a regular straight fwd question.

Okay. Can I play sounds which comes from computer with my casio ctk 700 when casio don't have usb port? And it will sound from casio keyboard sound card or from computer?
I hope you understand, as I'm bad at english.

I dunno about casio 700, I have Casio CTK-711, it doesnt have USB port, but I use USB MIDI interface, this means, I plug the midi cabble in my casio, and the other end of cable in midi interface, andplug the other end of midi interface in my PC USB port.

after this you can play the sounds in your PC, actually on your casio keyboard.

english is not my first language too, hope you can understand what I said.

Eh , forgot. One more question. You can't change sound bank, right?

my casio has its own sounds, and its impossible to change those sounds if I use the keyboards as a standalone. but if I use it as my midi keyboards, sure I can choose different VST plugins and different sounds to play.
