How to make a heartbeat sfx?

Anyone know of a way to make a heart beat sfx, or have a synth preset for zebra 2/sylenth1 I can get? I'd rather make my own sound instead of using an existing sound effect. And don't suggest record a real heartbeat through a stethoscope or something, cause I don't have the equipment atm.

My guess is to use low passed noise and maybe a sine wave for the thump... ima try to make it, if you guys have suggestions please post em'.

I actually put something together and tried to get a heartbeat effect, all I did though was use a drum that kind of sounded like a soft thump to begin with and messed about in the eq. I was satisfied with it in the end.
 
Id suggest EQ'ing the crap out of a drum and doing the midi for the kick like DEE DOOM.....DEE DOOM


Dee being a higher pitched note than the doom. or maybe the other way around. EQ/filters gone be yo best friend here
 
throw a lowpass filter on a kickdrum and make a 2 note pattern at 72bpm
