Is a Maschine Mikro MK2 worth 150 more than the Maschine Mikro?

Hello! I am looking to buy a Maschine Mikro as my first piece of hardware other than my laptop, but I am trying to decide whether to get an original or an MK2. On Amazon, the original is 200 while the new one is 350. There aren't any on local Craigslist, and they are similar on Ebay. So essentially, it comes down to those 2 options. Is the new one better enough than the old one? I saw a video which said it was pretty much just a pad upgrade, but I'm still not so sure about buying the original Maschine Mikro...

You can do everything a MK2 controller can with the MK1. The new controller is just an updated better controller in the sense of a new screen, better buttons,the pads now light up in different colors, the usb port is now inverted for a better fit, they changed the three knobs for tempo volume and swing to one knob, etc etc etc

If you are trying to save the cash then just pick up a MK1 it does everything the MK2 does.

^^ true u should get the mk1 i got that and u just update to the 1.8 software on the site and its the same thing to me all those colors make it look fruity lol, u should look up how to use it and all that so when u get it u know wat to do, the shit is dope tho i love mine
