Mac Miller La La La La sample question.

Hi guys this is my first post, I just couldn't get my head around this sample, w.ww.whosampled.com/sample/151498/Mac-Miller-La-La-La-La-Mariko-Takahashi-Heart-%26-Hard/

basically my question is. What process did the first 4 bars of Mariko Takahashi hearth and hard go through and came up with Mac millers la la la?
I am new to sampling and would like to learn how it works. thanks.

So they sampled the first 4 bars of the Takahashi joint from the start, EQ'd out the drum hits (cymbals and cross-sticks) and cut it up a bit before they sequenced it. To be honest, they may have not sampled it at all but just replayed it themselves, biting the melody.

Oh, they might've sped it up a little bit too.
