Hay people.

I have just come across the Booka Shades CD and loved the style.
Anyone sugest some other minimal techno acts like that?

Cheers

Minimal is best live.

Having said that, if you can get any of Chris Liebing's stuff it's pretty minimal and absolutely awesome

Umek's "Neuro" is probably my favorite album in this kind of stuff, don't really keep up with it though.

"Sheet One" by Plastikman is a classic. Just make sure you don't let the cops see it ;)

Minimal (along with most varieties of techno) have a pretty strong online scene - you can find lots of good, free stuff by checking out netlabels. Thinner is one label that comes to mind - their links page should provide you with a good starting point to find more.

Ritchie PLays some good minimal he is supposedly the "king of minimal" i dig his mixes

is that oi oi as in foi oi oi?

Ricardo Villalobos - Alcachofa is an outstanding minimal techno/microhouse cd. The track off it called Dexter is mindblowing. The horrorist is a fairly big name in minimal tech as well. For minimal DJs, check out Plastikman, Ricardo Villalobos, Loco Dice and Magda.

I wouldn't say Chris Leibling makes or plays minimal techno though.

Check out Booka Shade's labelmates M.A.N.D.Y as well.
