My MIDI Controller is too sensitive.

I have an M-Audio 49e MIDI controller. I hook it into my PC via USB cable and I sequence in fruityloops.

I feel that the velocity is too sensitive. I have to barely tap the keys to get something lower than full velocity. I have to manually adjust the velocity after recording.

How can I adjust it to be less sensitive. I read the manual, and it isn't clear that you can do this on the controller. Maybe there's something in the software?

Or am I just too darn buff?

My Yamaha controller has an option called "vel fix" and ranges from (off, 1-127).

You probably have you're controller set to to a middle range. I have mine set to off, and when I need full velocity (like on drums) I tap hard.

Read the manual and see if there is an option in the controller called "velocity fix" and then set it to off or full.

Hope this helps.

ill trade u mine is a radium 49 and it aint sensitive enough

also, make sure that the "Ignore Velocities" option is not checked in FL's settings.
