What do you think of it?
The credits say that Kells produced most of the tracks himself, but probably he just bought the beats to put his name on it.

I think its a very good album, for me it's the best album that has come out in 2007

clearly you aren't familiar with R.Kelly and his body of work, and the range of his production skills.

exactly!
off the top if my head, the only song I can think he sang but didn't produce is Fiesta

He did alot with the Trackmasters on that R. Double LP. But it's credited to them. Then the stuff he did with Erick Sermon, etc, etc are credited to the right people.

Man...kills me that people don't want to believe that people have the talent they actually have!

Kells produced nearly every track on TP2.com, the production on that album is just sick, my fav Kells album. He is extremely talented with music period, not just singing.

As for Double Up i havent listened to it yet, 'I'ma Flirt' has really put me off it. But i'll have a listen and if i'm impressed i'll cop it.

Yep

I put R. Kelly up there as one of my top 5 producers. I respect him as much as Dre, Kayne, Timbo...etc., He may be a perv but the man knows how to make a smash it. Ain't no denying that! Also to the orignal poster, FP's own Mysto & Pizzi have got a track on this album!

if youre a fan of TP2 / 12 play / chocolate factory, donny lyle on guitars type R Kelly. Its only "rise up" thats worth the listen.

if youre a fan of 24 inch rims and *******. youll love this.

I don't underestimate his producing skills, it's just the business of these days, take Akon for exameple, the is a producer on his lable that came from the Netherlands, but if he produces a song, it says "Produced by Akon".

And I'm not denying at all that he has incredible skills, I have all of his albums.

and i cant hate, hes doing whats hot right now, but i just personally dont really mess with that type of music too tuff.

dudes a genius tho. hopefully next time he'll switch it up.

I like Double Up. It's that summertime player music. If you don't like it, I suggest stepping your swagger up! Enjoy it for what it is. It's got features from the most active and popular artists, like it should. It's a healthy, well put together project.

You know what, I was just talking to my co-worker about this very album last night. It' a decent album, but nowhere near wher Chocolate factory or R or 12 Play is/was; if he would have just did his R&B thing instead of this R&B thug/rap thing with virtually every relevant rapper (what.. not Hov I wonder why lol), it would have been an album instead of this trifing hybrid compilation mess he put together.

king of RNB is now the king of RAP RNB...Damn I wanted some legitimate RnB from Kells...Its a double cd, he could have done half and half...We are all complaining about how hip-hop is dead...Have any of you asked yourself how long RnB has been dead????...for a couple years now...Labels put NO money into pure RNB anymore...It sickening...Black folks got soul...We NEED soul music...the top RNB album of the year was by a white guy...Robin Thicke is to RNB as Eminem WAS to hip-hop...

Ok, is going with the trend, but he still make some good joint, i love this album, he can adapt to the era he is in... so R Kelly is talented and this album is Dope. For me real classics by Kells are his 95 album "R Kelly" and "12 Play" and the 3rd classic is "Born into the 90's".

Don't Hate Kells, the guy always make good music, even if he doesn't really produce some of the tracks he claims to have...
