Mr.Curlz

Music forever.
What's his following like in the states. I just heard him on .977 online with a song called Beautiful Girl. Sounds like he can make an impact.

Somethin is fishy bout him

First he comes out all gangsta and then swithces to loves songs, and goes back and forth like he got split personalities...

i thought he was a rapper but he's doing this song. he's not huge in the states but the song is getting some play on top 40. the song is pretty new for the states.

this song is hot the melody reminds me of old bob marley songs

He's not getting as much attention as Junior Marley or C. Buddz, but the song Colors is a undeground classic...

Akon is in full rotation...

Sounds more like doowop to me.

Sean and JR was listening to Stand By Me on the radio, wherein they composed the track...

He's getting alot of spins in Southern Cali. Just as much as Young Berg and Shop Boyz are getting.

its funny how u guys said he's not big in the states like as in he's not from here lol. He's from florida and is a rapper. Although he might be of Jamaican decent, im pretty sure he doesnt speak a word of patois. Thats why his accent sounds a little fake to me (being im a huge listener of reggae/dancehall lol) ;) . He threw the whole reggae thing into the mix because it obviously will make him stand out from everyone else a bit more. JR picked him up for their new label Beluga Heights. We actually had a chance to work with him, he hit us up (through our connection with JR's partner, Evan Bogart who is a songwriter). But we aint really have anything for him at the moment, and once we did his album was kinda done. But song is doing real well actually, "Beautiful Girls" is climbing the charts pretty fast. I wish him well as well as JR with their new label, this is a nice start.

^^^I thought he was from FLA too, but then when I read the thread I thought maybe I was wrong.

yeah he's doing really good in the orlando area getting played as much as like a rockstar.... and that new song..... i could do wit shop boyz but that **** ay bay bay annoys the hell outta me...

Naw, he's really Jamaican. Half is family is there and he speaks to them in the Jam. patois.

Those of us who live in a home with immigrant parents know that it is possible to speak in more than one dialect/language without it being "fake"

In other words, it is quite possible to have two genuine cultures....

LOL that is funny that people think that.

What I found funny about his song is him saying "back in '99...when I did my first crime". Dude is 17. Should have made it more realistic.
