Hi, I am new to the list.
My question is:
I get a hum sound out of my speakers when sending sound from my computer to my mixer. I want to know how I can improve/fix this problem. I use programs like fruity loops and cubase, etc. to make music, master mixes. When I send the sound from the computer to the mixer I get a hum sound. What can i do.
Relevant specs:
CPU: AMD K6 300mhz, 64md sdram (laptop)
Sound card: Sound Blaster Pro
I/O cable: Radio shack cable
One end RCA other end is a single
jack like headphone
Mixer: Pioneer DJM-500
Speakers: Sony 80 watt speakers
