First thing is first. I am new here but, the past year or so I have read a ton of threads on this forum as well as many others. I am asking a question and I would appreciate an answer to my question only. If you answer my question by replying with stuff like "just record a real bass guitar", I am going to murder you through my computer screen. I hate to come off as a douche but, it is very frustrating when I see other people trying to learn with the equipment and resources they already have and then you have repliers avoid helping them in any way by insisting we spend more money on things they are familiar with. I dont own an actual bass guitar so if you can't help me, then ignore this thread entirely.
On with my question.
I bought trillian awhile back and have used it just for a bass sound in writing music. Recently I have been getting into mixing and I noticed the midi bass I have also has the slide articulation playing at random notes. I want to turn this off completely and anything I've searched for on the internet is wondering how to have more slides and other articulations in their bass lines. I have read the manual and there isn't anything specific enough to guide me into taking this annoying sound away in the middle of a breakdown or slow strum pattern.
Hope someone has an answer for me. Thank you
