first of all, i wanna say that i really hope that this doesn't turn into something serious. first of all i'm a fan of Tru Life, and even though i haven't bumped any dipset **** in a couple of years, i still respect them and think that they might be able to drop hot songs if they wanted to. i hope this is where it ends and that it doesn'televate into some bull****.

Cam and Tru Life Get Into Fight; Ed Lover Mediates

It's no secret that Cam'Ron and Tru Life aren't each other's biggest fans. Over the past few months, the two have exchanged numerous diss tracks, as well as entire mixtapes aimed towards one another.
The beef was taken to another level, as New York's Power 105 morning show host Ed Lover explains what happened: "What happened last night was Cam was standing in front of Club Stereo and Tru Life confronted him about what's been going on back and forth on the mixtapes and they got into a physical confrontation. Pretty much Tru Life hit Cam, cops broke it up and everyone dispersed," said the radio show host, according to SOHH.
"As an OG in this business, I have a lot of love for both camps and I'm trying to mediate this because it's starting to get to a point where it's getting out of hand now. The worst thing we need is somebody really getting seriously injured. Having a little fight is one thing, but you know when it comes to that, the gunplay comes into it. We don't need that. Hip hop got enough problems right now, we don't need another black eye because of some dumb beef. It can be squashed."
No major injuries were sustained an neither party has had anyone arrested. According to Ed Lover, he has spoken to both Jim Jones and Tru Life.
"It's just a matter of getting dudes off that 'f* the other dude' thing and coming to a table and sitting down," said Ed Lover."I think I'll be able to do that and with the help of some of the other OG's in the business we'll be able to do that...We're at a critical point with hip-hop right now. I feel like the future of hip-hop is riding on the moves that we make within the next couple of months, because Don Imus was slick enough to throw hip-hop in the pot. I know both of these camps and I'm trying to do as much as I can do to mediate and at least get some kind of dialogue."

ahahaha, i guess Cam should feel lucky he didn't get robbed by Tru Life at gun point like Mobb Deep did. This guy is just nuts. I don't like his music but this guy is so cool. Cam just having a bad year. First his hype man becomes a bigger star than him, Than gets clowned by 50, the 60 Mins fiasco and now this. ahahaha, career over

They both got albums coming out ... huh hum.

Mobb Deep didn't get robbed, two of there affiliates did.
 
When was the last real beef, where there was no album coming out soon, and it was no publicity stunt, etc. When was the last real beef?
 
And Cam (thru his publicist) denies there was an altercation (even though Ed Lover said he seen it pop off). Dipset is just not real. They deny (or don't talk about) Jim gettin' robbed. Pathetic.
 
The whole story sounds funny.As soon as tru-life hits cam,the situation just stops.it makes no sense.We all know police will b heavy at any hip hop event whether its a club or award show.The story has a lot of holes in it.And why is tru life tryin 2 hype it up?sounds like a publicity sunt 2 me.Of course people hate cam so much that they wont even think about the situation.1ST off CAM IS ON PROBATION.The most simple incident would get him locked up.Niggaz always talk about the rucker situation.if 20 niggaz were coming at you,will u sit there and fight them or will u run?Its certain situations that require common sense.Besides Cam is running buisnesses and gettin his money.wht is tru-life doin besides wasting his career away and working on an album that will flop or just get shelved.wht is lil cease and his crew doin besides gettn locked up and doin much of nuthing.Cam has 2 much at stake 2 waste his freedom on people who got nuthn goin 4 them.Cam dosent need publicity.Say wht u want Cam has a decent fanbase and sells quite well 4 an independent.Besides when you really break it down,he dosent spend much on marketing and beats anyway,so he gets more $$$ than a nigga who go platinum wit just blaze,kanye and other high priced producers

Tru Life a a bum tryin to do what so many other unknowns do to get some hype they attack a more popular artist and try and get some shine. If cam didn't do **** it would be in his best interest. Who the **** wants to look hard behind bars? I'd rather take some **** on the outside and get my peoples to **** with somebody before I do some dumb **** and have to take that long bus ride.

Actually I heard from someone that was actually at the place when it happend. He said Tru Life Slapped the sh!t outa Cam and Cam aint do nuthing. One of my engineers brothers was outside and when it happend called and told us the story
 
Why wont all of the lame rappers kill each other off... When will CAM bust off his gun he's always talking about???

They denied it because Cam got a clockin to his noggin. I'm sure if Cam knocked out Tru Life, there would be a diss song, video, and a TV series talking about how it all went down.
