I found this song one day while downloading some songs for a bachata/salsa/merengue library and I fell in love with it.
But can someone tell me how these Dominicans are playing bongos at like 300 MPH, and shakers at 900? I mean I know A LOT of skill is involved, but think about it, some dude has to go to the studio and record himself shaking something at 900 MPH for about 4 minutes, and then some dude on the bongo. I saw on a live video of the song some guy is hitting some metal thing to make the shaker sound, but what is it? Can anyone enlighten me here? Like... what instruments you think are being used and what are the common bachata instruments. Thanks!!!
Here's the song btw... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PItctp71Gc&feature=related&fmt=18
And that live video I was talking about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PItctp71Gc&feature=related&fmt=18
