found something online but its not letting me post link on the discussion.

same here been trying to figure this out. the ts function in slicex doesnt stretch to tempo or beats

I'm after this too - I can't figure out how to work out the time stretch. Any good SliceX tutorials out there that go beyond the basics?

Try dicing up the samples with the Fruity Slicer. The Timestretching is controlled by a slider(TS). Much easier. Fruity Slicer is like a scaled down version of SliceX

Actually, stick to cutting the samples in SliceX - which is a lot more pleasent - and then drag them onto Fruity Slicer or straight onto a track for easy time stretching.

A bit of a rant Why can't they apply the same time stretching mehtod to SliceX as they did for the Fruity Slicer? And when are we going to get Ableton style warping in SliceX. This would real put my mind at rest from always wanting to give Ableton a go... I always come back to Fruity Loops though!

I'm struggling with this myself too, and it is annoying the heck out of me. I don't understand why I have to use two plug ins when it can easily be achieved in one. Somebody should PM this thread to Image Line haha

How much are you trying to stretch the sample? I don't really have any trouble making it sound normal unless i'm trying to double the length or the sample is not of good quality to begin with.

Enough to fit in with the rest of the song.

If anybody is still struggling with it I found out how to stretch your samples in Slicex. You have to go to Tools and from there you select the "Time Stretch" option. A little less obvious then how it's done in Fruity Slicer but still does the same thing.
