ive been trying to get that pitch bend synth thing that ive heard calvin harris use wqhere at the start or end of a chord or note it sweeps up an octave. ive been trying to achieve this using the pitch bend automation in abletons midi editing, the problem is it only works on some presets in massive and tal noisemaker (i dont have sylenth) and it doesnt sound good and it doesnt sound like its sweeping up a whole octave even when i drag it down to the bottom and it changes the pitch of the melody too so is it better to try this with a pitch envelope within massive itself.
also another question is with simpler, is there a free vst that does the same thing but doesnt speed up the sample, because anything an octave above middle c just becomes indesernible to the human ear
