The guys beat effects are ill. His beats are good on both young Jeezy albums and I am trying to find a organ effect that he has that sounds really erie but I am having a tough time making it myself... Anyone know where I can get some kits by him?

not sure about his instruments, but his drum kits are nothing but heavily custom tweaked 808s.

His organ effects? They are called chords.

In the new scratch it said he used a fantom x6 and a triton so you should probably just save ya gwop and get that board.

the fantom has a bunch of those eerie sounds..one he uses often is that Sad Ceremony preset i think...and yeah he plays chords..not just one finger..thats why it sounds full...but on the real his music sounds like a nightmare on elm street

Yeah, that Sad Ceremony is hot. I love it. I just haven't found a proper use for it yet.

me neither it always sounds like it goes out of key..but it sounds like chris webber used it on Nas album for that Blunt Ashes

you got the rack or the keys? Cuz i know on the keys, you can hit the TONE soft-key, and then go in and de-select some of the layers in the actual sound. That may give you a better sound.

sweet. So you know where I can get a few of the stuff he already made? BTW. The "organ" effect as I called it, I know you said chords... is in the song "Get ya Mind right" In the first 12 secs.

I want that effect really bad. I have some nasty Ideas for that chord I want to put on a track.

I guess I will have to look around...

The instrument in da 1st 12 seconds of that beat is a choir, not a organ. The organ comes in once da beat drops.

Just so you know in case you didn't, none of those "drumkits" are ever the real sounds those producers use. Why would timbaland, Storch, Shawty Redd, anyone give away their drums? And if someone stole them, they're worth way more than a $10 download off Ebay.
