I can't seem to install Cakewalk's Sonar 2.2 XL anymore.
During the DirectX 8.x days it was a breeze, but now, with 9.0a, it just won't work. Sonar needs DirectX 8.0 or higher to work, yet doesn't recognize DirectX 9.0a as being higher than 8.0, thus attempting to install 8.0 during setup. When the DirectX 8 setup fails due to my system using a newer version, Sonar exits installation. Is there any way to have Sonar recognize the newer iteration of DirectX?
Thanks!
Rob
