This song is something different. I have to give it a few listens before I give my verdict.
 
yeah Cassie sound nice there, might need this to grow on me too. This was out in April though.

This hip pop is much more prevalent, lately.

Cassie sounds 215% better since her debut.

melody is weak as hell. i don't like that beat at all. even the pad synth sounds mad boring
 
Cassie has grown and improved but I still prefer the one with Karin Paisin, her vocals sound better and are stronger.

Lil wayne is becoming annoying. Every track It's either Lil Wayne, T-Pain or Fabulous. Common!

I guess it's about time we take back Hip Hop and Rap. Own our own labels and stuff. Imagine a Record Lable owned by someone who actually loves the music. Since labels can't make money with hip hop no more, we back to square one. It's almost about that time.

cassie's vocals are always a little weak. if she was ugly I don't think she'd have any chance of a recording career, but image can only bring your music so far.
 
Sex sells.

With that said, they are both out of the ordinary artists. Cassie, has her own style. No high notes.

Weezy has his own style, no over thought rhymes or content.
Easy for anyone to listen to. Dude just says whatever comes in his head. All his records sound like freestyles, i mean real freestyles nothing pre-written. He said it himself '' i don't write, coz i aint have time''

Who is writing this stuff? "Official Girl" ????

She is off beat on the first verse, and it's like they were trying too hard to force her lyrics to fit with the drum cadence.

Of course it does. That's what mainstream hip hop is today, nothing but club songs. Thank Lil Jon for that. :rolleyes:
