How do I convert stereo files into Mono using adobe audition?...I checked all the settings in the program ...couldn't find anything ....any help would be appreciated ....

Batch convert or save to a mono file.

Yea, just press F11 in Edit View to bring up the 'Convert Sample Type" window and you can convert from stereo to mono and sample rate etc...

When you load the file, look in the bottom right. On the part that says "Stereo," right click it and select "Mono."

Right click audio in track view, and select mix to mono track
