Devante Swing from Jodeci

Whatever happened to this guy?
When he was producing/writing tracks for Jodeci/KCi/JoJo, many people thought he would be a future superstar-producer/hitmaker, but I looked him up, and he's only done ONE track since the new millenium...WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED 2 HIM?

On a related topic...I noticed one of Scarfaces album is called "Diary of a MadMan" while one of jodecis is called "Diary of a mad band"...was that done on purpose?
 
Yo, I was readin some webpages, and it said at the first annual bet awards in 2001, that Devante was lookin mad skinny, wearin white payless boots, carryin a fur purse, grabbin his nuts, and
had a dried-out jhericurl. :(

Anyone got pics or video of that?

Yeah, the nicca did clean.
Yeah, the nicca wore whites boots to BET awards.
Even yeah, he plays basketball in Cowboy boots(true story).

As far as Diary of a MadMan/Band, that comes from Ozzy Osbourne, but he could have gotten it from somewhere else...

Supposedly Jodeci is doing a reunion concert real soon. So I pray that Devante can take his King of RnB production crown back away from R. Kelly...

They'll be here in The Bay on August 21st. Supposedly its their first performance together since _____ ? Should be dope.

according to a recent interview Devante is working on the tracks for the new jodeci that "should" be out the middle of next year.

yeah ....a note to cats now adays so called makin love songs....takin a listen to "forever my lady" should school em real good .a true love thing with meaning ,about devante .see this what i be talkin bout .we heard bout the bad in people lives but,what is really that person going through to get on a drug.or addiction,
"CAUSE WE ALL ARE ADDICTED TO SUMTIN"these are the deep things we need to make more songs about,songs that will leave sweet deposits in the listeners lives for the better to help them out deeply, peace

it looks like its going to be a hard come back for him, i think that devantes "swing ghost" is now with timbaland.
devante brought timbo to the game back in the day when he was running the bassment with missy, ginuwine and some others.
devante tought timbo everything he knew and timbo did some ghost production on a few jodeci albums.
devante even gave him the name timbaland.
devante is an unspoken legend though, he even produced on all eyes on me.
 
lol ... it'd be interesting to say the least if all 4 members of Jodeci came back ... complete with a Redman track :D

bring some of that ruff, rugged, hardness back to K-Ci and Jo-Joe

Here are some pics, Jodeci reunion !! They didn't do any new material ! But they did do all the Jodeci classics !

Honestly, the singing didn't sound amazing, but hey, I was just glad to see them togehter and well.
