Does anybody remember The Lyricist Lounge Show??

i remember being a freshman at Florida State University back in summer 2000. i couldn't wait till 10:30 tuesday nights to watch that show. I absolutely loved the concept and it featured real MCs like Mos up in there. i remember the barber shop skits the freestyles and the female mcs held their own too. my favorite part was the ending where everyone freestyles and ends the show with "THE LYRICIST LOUNGE SHOW"... who? "THE LYRICIST LOUNGE SHOW"...what? " THE LYRICIST LOUNGE SHOW!!!!!! man i wish they would bring that back. Hip Hop needs that. Nick Cannon tried with wildin' out which i sorta liked but it wasn't the same. anyone else loved this show like i did or am i the only one??

this show was my absolute favorite...i was much younger, i mean i was like 13 or 14, eyes glued to the tube when it came on...i remember the show when it was snoop, master fuol, wordsworth....man...BRING IT BACK!!! :'(

that was my **** back in the day. I have Savin Private Rhymin' on my computer now. I really loved the freestyling boxin match where one said somethin about commandments and was like, "Thou shall not test these skills. Open up your mouth, give me back my (tes-stee-kills). That **** had me laughin how they were reactin to each punchline like a hit. Also the first place I saw Tracee Ellis Ross' big booty havin ass.
 
hell yea i remember that show. i looked it up on youtube a couple months ago. i just cant forget that show
 
I wanna extra-large pizza with a 2-liter soda/I wanna Sega Dreamcast with the blue controllers.....

I don't know why that lyric stood out to me and I still remember that to this day when they was doing the skit with Snoop holding up a store. Then MasterFool comes in with "and it's hard to find a Pokemon Charazar card"

Them niggas used to say anything on there. That's what made it so different. I liked Baby Power on there too. Dude had a nice flow

this show was dope, i dont even think it lasted a whole season, theres actually a mos def song, cant think of the name, but anyway mos has a whole song that he got from a skit he did on the show
 
yea i remember that show. my cousin put me up on it. oh girl from Girlfrinds was on there. i wanna say they should bring it back, but they might put all the wrong rappers on it in order to appeal to the new gen of listeners. but it was a good show.
