So i recently just started using fl studio 9 on my macbook pro w/ bootcamp and I am having a lot of issues regarding underruns and crackling sounds. I am using a Macbook pro (core 2 duo processor 2.40 ghz, 4 gb ram) w/ windows 7 64 bit. I have a m audio fast track pro...buffer length is set to 256(6ms) and I am using the M-Audio USB Asio....i dont understand why I am getting so much crackling? Would it be better to use ASIO4All? I tried changing the buffer length and that didnt help? Any suggestions?

hmmm that's crazy I use mine at about 128 (3ms) and I don't have the issues you got and believe it or not my comp don't have the specs yours do (yours is better)...try asio4all but your soundcards asio driver is better.....so I would say raise the buffer size (but expect latency)....lowering it would cause it to underun and crackle even more. also check are you monitoring in samplerate 44100 and interpolation is 6-point hermite? if not put those to that setting that fl's default see if that helps.

Im using a 44100 samplerate and 6-point hermite. Honestly it could just be the version im using. Iv been using a cracked version of 9.1 and its givin me nothing but trouble (it crashes on me nonstop and has tons of glitchs). So im going out tommorow to buy a legit version and hopefully that will fix my problems.
