Troup, you were straight up trolling the OL forums and you know this, that's why you continue to do it now. You know that's why you were kicked from the OL forums. You kept going on about how you couldn't upgrade as we were trying to find a solution for you and all the other Ol customers.
Yawn dude. Yawn. If trolling is expressing my displeasure at how I can't upgrade my machine, after constantly being told that "upgrade paths are coming", then it is what it is.
Y'all kept over promising and under delivering. That's not my fault.
I didn't bad mouth...wasn't rude. Didn't say anything out of line. I was an unhappy customer, and I expressed my displeasure. And how was I dealt with?? I was BANNED.
Is that world class customer service?? I think not.
And how exactly am I trolling now? I don't have an account over there, I don't post anything over there. I am an Open Labs customer, and I was banned from the forums.
Y'all didn't have a problem when I was Open Labs Cheerleader #1. But when I have an issue, you deal with it by BANNING ME??
This is exactly the type of behavior that caused me to abandon you, and I'll never buy another Open Labs piece of equipment again. You can't treat your customers like that, and expect them to keep giving you money.
So we did complete that task now that elements holding us back were removed. As for the price of the upgrade, your unit was an early rev of the Tim units and we ended up finding better solutions for some of the components. The upgrade path available is the only way we can get that unit up to speed. Trust me, when you go to upgrade yr Blade 3 or 4 years from now there will be a lot of changes that will need to be accounted for. We didn't make the rules here, we just had to figure out how to make the rules work. The path would also give you a terabyte drive and an I7, the value of that is half the price right there. I don't think your blade has an I7, if it did it would have been much more.
$3049 isn't an upgrade. It's BUY A NEW UNIT.
And are you joking? You do realize that I have 15 years in IT, and a bachelors degree in MIS, right? You are not about to sit here and tell me that an $80 1 TB Drive (at most), and a $250 Intel i7 processor is half the cost!
Have you LOST YOUR MIND?
I CAN DO MATH. Tell that shit to someone who doesn't administer hundreds of servers, and PETABYTES of data on a daily basis.
I don't need an i7. My processor wasn't the problem. It was the RAM that was the problem. Y'all could easily give people like me the 64 bit option without having to upgrade all the hardware...IF YOU WOULD JUST UPGRADE THE M-FUSION CODE!! But you won't...you want me to buy another Miko, when I just paid $5000 for this one 2 years ago.
I spent $5000. And now you are telling me that I have to spend another $3000 to get this thing to run how I need it to?? When there is a better alternative for $2599???
Y'all must be on crack down there.
also, for the record, I was against kicking you from the Forums, but you pissed EVERYBODY off over here so I was over ruled.
lol...I pissed EVERYBODY off? So I have that kind of power down there at OL?? That's good to know.
So what pissed em off? Me being supporting Victor and his new venture? Me being on the debut webcast of MC? Me not being quiet about my long standing issues with Open Labs and this product??
Again...it's good to know that I matter that much to them.
Again, y'all can keep that shit. You gon tell me to fcuk off and then ask me to give you $3049???
PS, a pad isn't a pad if it doesn't have velocity sensitivity, those 64 "pads" are just buttons really.
PS - The manufacturer of those BUTTONS are coming out with a velocity sensitive version in about 2 months. And MC has already guaranteed that owners will get the upgrade
FOR FREE.
And you still continue to try to bash the competition every chance you get. It's just making you and your company look desperate and scared.
Notice how the competition isn't saying ANYTHING about you??? That should tell you that they already know that you're on your last leg, and not even worth mentioning.
