The FL keys piano sucks so badly anyone have any insight on how to make it sound better it would be much appreciated

Reverb and delay, but really you should just use a better piano vst, DSK and 4front have decent free ones that will sound better than FL keys. FL Keys can be tweaked to sound like a grand piano, but it still will sound "fake". Of course, I'd say to you to pay someone to record it to you, but you should follow the advice from the above user.

There's tons of other things out there you could use besides fl keys.. Just because that's the name of the plugin doesn't mean it's what you have to use if you're using fl studio.. Some soundfonts sound good if you do effects properly, but just do like they said and find another vst.

If you are using FL Studio, don't use FL Keys. There are stock pianos that have been sampled that are available with every edition of FL.
In the navigation bar on the left, navigate to Packs > Instruments > Keyboard > Grand Piano. That piano is sampled to every other key and is of much better quality... Plus it uses the DirectWave sampler, a sampling program with significantly more options, effects, and modifiers than the FL Keys VST (including a built-in reverb setting for added realism).
If you have FL Studio 12.1, they even added a "Stage Grand" and a "Closed Grand" in that update. If you have purchased FL legitimately you should be eligible for a free upgrade to it from Image Line.

Everything said above, if you can afford vst's such as refx nexus 2, it has great pianos good to go

FL Keys f*cking suck...Just another cheap and plastic piano plugin,even with tweaking,I would suggest you a free Kontakt library,it's named Amore Grand Piano,it has a better sounding piano,or you can use the stock Grand Piano sample through Directwave as a user said above,but everything you make,it has to be tweaked to sound good.
