I got the midi down, thanks guys.. Now I'am having a little hard time quantizing differently to 8th, 16th, 32 notes in the drum sequencer and also my my midi... To me, this is key to make your music diverse with rhythm. Thanks, much appreciated.

hold alt+Q to quan. then it will give u the option to do whatever u want

FL has no real 'Quantize while recording' only way u cant quantize at diff values is AFTER u lay your stuff down which i dont like at all but oh well lol

If you put the mouse on the main Snap you will see in the browser "Main Snap/ Quantization/ Step Edit Step". So the Main Snap is Quantize in real time. It's Fruity Loops Language for Quantize in real time. I have no idea why they choose this over the traditional language of quantize.

So you can't Quantize you're notes during playing ?
what i find really odd is, when i'm playing live in fl studio
my notes are off but i'm playing exactly with the metronome
so after a view testing if i play it slightly off after the metronome hit my notes are exactly on time it's the stranges thing in my opion.

Yes you can? set the main snap to 1/4 beat, snap or what ever. This is your quantize during recording.

The thing is Snap & Beat is 1/16th and or 1/16th triplet. But we don't know what is what. Check out the links I posted above and tell me what you get from them. Someone on this sight has to know something about Quantization during recording in Fruity Loops. The Main Snap in the browser is where its at.

That looks like Fruity Loops buffer in the Audio settings. You need a real sound card to get rid of the latency issue your having. Or some people use ASIO4All but I can't get that to work my self. Lower your buffer to about 1900. If you do have a real sound card you should be able to lower the buffer to a least 256.

Yea, I think i saw this menu, with 1/16, triplets, ect... I know what triplets are but I guess I got do some research on what their 32th is. I know its one of them since time is broken down like fractions. thanks. It doesn't really bother me about quantizing while recording cuz I like to highlight diff parts and set them to the time I want. Especially drums.
Thanks

No problem LastDon100.

Yeah i got an M-audio fast track pro

Go to the Fast Track Pros set up menu and lower the buffer to at least 500 but 256 would be better. And make sure you set the fast track as your sound card in Fruitys audio set up. Hope that helps you.

Somebody Should be able to break down the Main Snap Quantize from this site.
