another crazy track. Rakim rips it, so does Jay, and so does Dre (his verse was actually written by Ab-Live, former member of Major Figgas and now a memeber of Clipse's Re Up Gang)

this is old...waste of a post

nah not too many blunts, but I forgot the name of the song, and my speakers were unplugges so instead of plugging my speakers in i asked...
but its good that jerz brings back old songs that we forget about, its nice to listen to the old tracks everyonce in a while

I always wondered if jay was throwin a subliminal when he says "we give Dre his props BUT THATS WHERE IT STOPS its the Roc!". Kinda OT but that album would of had classic status had he cut out some songs which he did with 2.1 but he cut out too many and left some weak ones on. BTW lyrically Guns and Roses and Meet the Parents especially some of the best work ever.

Rakim is the G.O.A.T

the most respected emcee ever as far as lyrical skills go.

^^finally, somebody mentions Rakim. his verse was the best on the song, not saying the others were wack, but there is a reason that he spit last.

i guess nobody here cares about rakim, since they let "the saga begins" thread sink with no comments, while this has two pages worth.

Nas cant hang wit the god.jay-z should stick 2 doin tracks wit bleek.at least he seems nice.Rakim destroyed the whole song.If u listen 2 the content, there was no comparison. If i was Jigga,i woulda told Ra 2 go 1st.Rakim's 1st 2 bars had more content then dre and jigga's verse.

To be honest, I liked the original better than Watcher 2. For some reason this beat sounds worse than the original, and that corny "james bond" guitar doesn't help either. Also, where did that bassline go?! That sh!t was fire!

In general, I don't like when artists redo songs and add a "part 2" to the title. Especially if the beat goes to a different artist. For example, ***** Please by Snoop Dogg was sick. Then ***** Please 2 came out, but this time it was by Eminem (wtf?). Snoop and Xzibit were in it, but it didn't feel as sick as the original.

The reason I like B.P2 about as much as BP is cause the beat was significantly different. Watcher 2 just sounds like a lamer version of the Watcher. Just my opinion.
