I can't tell you how many people who purchased things from my store started yelling SCAM and FRAUD and reporting me to paypal, just because the email with the download link went to their spam box.


I even had one fool claim he bought the wrong beat, and wanted to return it. I told him NO, because there was no way you can return a digital file, because you still HAVE IT.

He reported me to paypal, and they ruled in HIS FAVOR!!!





The MyFlashStore.net creator created my store from scratch. I host my own files on my own site. Everything is controlled by me, and it works perfectly.


Why? Because I INVESTED in my business instead of trying to build a business on FREE tools.


Other people should do the same, and stop yelling SCAM just because they are doing something wrong.

Like I said in the video, the site had a very good idea but I don't believe they executed it properly. I searched all over the internet and megaupload for my files and I could not find them at all, and i know exactly what to look for. If I would have found them then I would've never made the video.

Its not like I got mad and made the video 20 minutes later. NO. I waited and waited and then did my research before I posted the video because I understand that bad reviews can hurt a business. My track out file names were different than what I named them on the flash player.

What if I sold an exclusive beat and then found out that multiple people had the same tracked out beat? That looks bad on me. I could be sued over a beat that I made. I did a search on their forum for "beat jackers" and found that a guy from the "Track Officialz" had a similar problem. Someone was actually using their name AND had one of their beats posted. That was posted three weeks ago.

SFTRAXX had a good idea but the whole point was the fact that I was paying for a "fully automated" service. I will be sure to use SFTRAXX's idea from now on because I can't have random people downloading my tracked out files.

I've never had that problem with the service that I PAY for.




Invest in yourself, so that you control every aspect of your business. Like Ill Rocka said, If you as a business offer a solution and outsource something that's connected to you, you are still at fault when that third party doesn't come through correct.
 
troup did your web developer make your player from scratch or did you buy a service from an existing company?
i need to get a player soon.

The guy who runs MyFlashStore.net did my player.



He has since stopped doing custom work like mine.

Yea I did. I told him what happen and this is what he said:

Not really sure why that is, but I can assure you that absolutely nobody can access to your beat downloads/trackouts etc unless they purchase it, the download links are completely secure.

Sometimes he takes awhile to reply but he has replied to every question I have asked him. I don't have a problem with Wasim. I have a problem with the service not being there. Like I said earlier, you are paying for a "fully automated" service and thats not the case. On top of that I had unauthorized downloads. I'm trying to get a hold of megaupload to see if they can track the download. They probably can't but its worth a try.

I understand that you need to invest in yourself and that's just what I did. I paid for myflashstores service. I even paid for a custom voicetag which they got wrong. They corrected it but it took twice as long as they said it would. I paid for my domain, my website, and advertising. I understand it takes money to make money.

Scam?? That's quite an accusation... Are we taking your money and not providing you with a service... nope. Do you really think that we are taking your beats and selling them on ourselves? Do you really think that's worth our while to steal from our customers...what kind of long term business strategy do you think would involve stealing from customers. Think about the legal ramifications if we did that...do you think any business that adopted this strategy would last in any industry?

Let me tell you how it is...

We "recommend" MegaUpload as an upload service to upload your trackouts as the files can be very big. MegaUpload is not the only option, there are many options out there, free and for a price, that you could use to upload your trackouts and place the download link in your trackout section of myFlashStore. Once you put your download link on myFlashStore, it is completely secure on our servers with absolutely no way anyone can access the link unless they purchase an exclusive licence. If you can see downloads on MegaUpload then we can assure you they are not coming from us distributing your link or "stealing and selling on your beats". Maybe we are at fault for recommending MegaUpload if they are causing our customers issues, we will take a look into this matter and maybe recommend another service.

The reason we do not allow you to upload the trackouts to our server is because trackouts are very big files, sometimes 300-400Mb each. Now if you have a Gold account for $9.99/month, and you have 50 beats, with 50 trackouts, thats 20GB space needed for your trackouts alone, not to mention your WAV uploads and MP3 beats. We would happily provide that space for you, but would entail us increasing our prices to accommodate for the amount of server space we would need. We thought we would keep the prices affordable by offering the solution of a third party upload service, while still being able to automatically deliver the link to your customers.

Regarding your issues with the download links not being delivered, have you tried reading our PayPal FAQ, which gives you a couple of steps that could help increase deliverability?

Try that, see if that helps you.

I hope you can understand how ridiculous the accusation that we would steal your beats to resell them is, we are a legitimate company and provide a fantastic service for thousands of happy producers, but there will always be unhappy customers for any company out there (even Apple has unhappy customers believe it or not). If you are having problems with our service, we have outstanding support to help any customer in need.

I have a challenge for everybody on this site. I have uploaded a tracked out file to megaupload named "BG2 Trackout.zip."

I WILL PAY $50.00 THROUGH PAYPAL TO THE FIRST PERSON THAT CAN SEND ME THE URL TO THIS FILE.

I WILL ALSO TAKE DOWN MY CURRENT VIDEO AND I WILL REPLACE IT WITH A VIDEO WHERE I AM APOLOGIZING TO WASIM AND EVERYBODY AT MYFLASHSTORE. I WILL ALSO POST THIS VIDEO ON THIS FORUM FOR EVERYONE TO SEE.

WE WILL SEE JUST HOW LONG IT TAKES. IT DIDN'T TAKE THAT LONG FOR MY TRACKED OUT FILES TO BE DOWNLOADED SO IT SHOULDN'T TAKE THAT LONG TO FIND THIS ONE.

IF NO ONE CAN FIND IT IN TWO WEEKS THE DEAL IS OFF!

Once you download it PM me your email so I can see if its really my file. Just upload one of the tracks so that I can verify. You dont have to upload the whole zip file.

looks like a phising site, if you search for anything there you get results, with a random generated word like NEW or .iso or.zip at the end, when you download you have to sign up, they hope you use an important email address and the same password for all your stuff. Like your PAyPAl account for example.

Might want to change your shit.

I could be wrong though, but type random shit in the search and you get results.

There you have it. I've done business with Wasim in the past, and he is a stand up guy, who goes above and beyond for his customers. He provides a phenomenal service, at a price that can't be beat.



People can't have everything for free. Server space, bandwidth, all of those things cost money. You can host the files on YOUR OWN SERVER (Web Hosting Services, Reseller Hosting, and Dedicated Servers by HostGator) and provide the links there. That way, you know exactly what's being downloaded from you, and you have full control.

Hell, basic hosting is free with most domain purchases.





Again, you can't get everything for free people.
 
Let us know if someone is able to access/search megaupload, would you?

I really don't know what to make of these accusations. I've been using the *paid* service for over a year with little to no problems. The only problems I've dealt with were along the lines of customers not receiving their beats because of their beats ending up in their spam box.

When it comes to using megaupload......well, megaupload claims to not make their files available for public access but I'm sure someone, somewhere prob has a way around this....with that said, is it honestly the store's fault?? I have a solution for this tho, when u zip your session, password lock it, then after your sale email your customer directly the pass to open the session. Now you control the access.

Exactly! I've been using My Flash Store for a while now as well. The majority of my beat sales come through my flash store player. Im to the point where I ready to cancel my VIP membership because of the business I receive. I use megaupload for bigger files like SFTRAXX and password protect them as well. No issues on my end. I vouch for the guy.
