PIERCINGS in HIP-HOP, Would a Rapper Get Dissed For...

My eyebrow is pierced and one of my homies said dudes look at that on a guy and think it means he's gay or some sh*t. Like you wouldn't see a dude with a tounge ring and not think he's gay. I don't think it's like that with an eyebrow piercing but this dude brought it up.

I'm jus curious do yall think that would be something people would diss a rapper for? People was and still is dissin Wayne for that lip piercing he got. So you think people would diss a rapper with an eyebrow ring?

*And just so everybody knows, I'm not on that rockstar sh*t. I know a lot of dudes getting piercings and dressing in tight pants and shirts, I ain't with that.* A lot of cats on here is clowning dudes for that, so jus gotta let it be known lol

If you're comfortable with it, to hell with what people think. I personally think it's not the piercings, but the way a guy's swag is that makes him look a certain way with them.

For some dudes one ear peircing is enough to make him look suspect, others can have piercings everywhere and because of the way they carry themselves, you wouldn't think nothing of it for a second.
 
Of course some niggas go overboard with the "Black boy swag, white boy tags," sh!t. I just refuse to sit here and worry about another man's wardrobe and accessories. just my op
 
it most likeley depends on ure style, like lord infamous from three 6 mafia had tons of peircings on his eyes and nose.. that was wayyy back in 96.. it's a new day and people are doing alot more outta the ordinary shiet if u get wat im sayin so i dont see the problem..

I did a project on Pac right before I dropped out last year n of course it had pics n all tha girls was sayin how good he looked n sh*t, one girl said somethin about his nose ring and all tha other girls in tha class was agreeing lol. I aint gonna repeat what they was saying but you get it lol

Im talking about TODAY tho. Its a lot different. I dont think it would be a problem, just wondering what other people think.

Who cares, if you like having piercings then do it. Don't let anybody judge you for doing you. I don't have any tats or piercings but I won't hate on somebody that does it.
 
If it fits you then do your thing. I'd look a damn fool with it but on other people it compliments their style nicely. It just depends on you. Ask a couple of ya homegirls and see what they say to hell with what a **** says. They just going to hate and crack jokes regardless, it's what we do lol.

Dudes are like hoes. They will find anything that they don't like and point it out due to insecurity about themselves. That being said anyone will talk shyt about something that's abnormal but as soon as it catches on, here comes the bandwagon jumpers. People were more concerned about Wayne's piercing than his intelligible, drug induced lyrics and he didn't care.

Not quite a rapper but he does get his rhyming in before entering the squared circle, piercings and all. :)

Oh, well I nawl I don't think a rapper would be dissed for piercings because there is a whole gang of them now. Maybe if you got in beef with a "street" rapper he'd use it as ammo, but nothing out the blue I'm sure.

I found some dudes with eyebrow piercings, most people associate it with these types (search - male + eyebrow ring on Yahoo!... first photos to show up, lol). Not many people have the "swag" deranged is talking about to pull it off. Pac was able to wear a nosering only because people didn't want any backlash from him.

Why can't they just not like it. Do you love everything? You don't see anything in a negative light and you have never spoke a negative word in your life against something that you didn't like?

People don't go around picking stuff to hate on... they either are for or against something. It's not a real serious thing. Ask me if I ever like Reebok's and I'll say no I never liked them shyts.... guess I'm a hater or something just because I didn't like something and somebody asked about it, lol or I secretly want a pair... silly ish to me, lol.
