Hip Hop has got to friendly and cupcake for niggas to diss other rappers for stuff like that look at how many passes niggas done gave Lil Wayne

LOL and from what I'd guess you're old enough to not be swayed by the masses. Most people couldn't think for themselves if you gave them an extra brain and an instruction manual.

I don't really do anything extreme. It would never cross my mind to pierce my eyebrow, nose, lip or anything... no tats, none of that.

I'm always late to the party... ish has to become the "style" instead of the "fad" before I'll even consider entertaining it... basically, I don't stand out in a crowd because I don't want to.

My natural persona, features and mouthpiece is all the "swag" I need, lol. I don't need a pink shirt because they're fashionable and would get noticed, don't need a nose ring to bring attention to myself, don't need to hit the mall and buy up everything the mannequin has on... I show up with a haircut, teeth white, clothes pressed... and peoples eyes follow me any damn way, lol. The man of mystery.... without tight or superbaggy azz jeans and tats and braids. A normal azz dude.

I win everytime... I know this because lately I've been hitting up BBQ's with my own conservative swag... and then I look on FaceBook and see dudes that were there taking pictures in the same type ish I was wearing... lol, when they were at the BBQ they were dressed like that leprechaun on the Lucky Charms box...

I just don't know what THOUGHT would enter somebody's mind to say "I should get a <insert not normally a man thing here>"... I still think that people shouldn't really seek approval for who they are and if they do... then they're uncomfortable being themself.

It's just another form of expression.. whys it gotta be something negative?

And what defines "a man thing"..?
Uhh.. that came across wrong..

A man thing is something that men have been doing and a woman thing is something that women have been doing... over time.

Women have always had nose rings, eyebrow rings, butterfly tattoo's - That's why Game got backlash for getting a butterfly... he wished it were just a butterfly tattoo but it wasn't... it was a butterfly tattoo ON A DUDE! so that made it odd. He got it covered up because men wondered "What would make a man think to get a damn butterfly tattoo?" Maybe Game knew... but wasn't strong or secure enought to let it ride... social norms made him cover it up and butterfly faggotry did not enter the man realm.

According to FP, dudes should have butterfly tattoo's on their lower back and wear low rise jeans because it's just expression.

I don't know why a lot of people are in the Hip Hop section, it's like some anonymous wanderer's in found a section with Hip Hop in the title and wanted to bring along all of their fruityness with them. Hip Hop ain't about no pink, butterflies, tight pants, or whatever the sweeties try to change it too.

Nope, I'm not tolerant. I am a caveman that eats with his hands.

Unga Munga!

Yeah you can be comfortable with it. But you'd get dissed if you had a lip, tongue or nose piercing i feel. From another rapper anyway.

Alright, but who said just because kids are getting piercings that don't follow the accepted trend.. that it has to relate to hip hop?

You're going to get dissed for anything you do... by somebody.

People outside of Hip Hop think big chains, grills, and baggy pants are stupid...

If I go to the company BBQ and come back with a plate of watermelon, collard greens and fried chicken, somebody is going to get a kick out of it... and it's just food, lol

Just gotta live...

Yeah lol.. I get **** from my friends that don't listen to hip hop..

I'm not saying I care about the dissing at all, just that people seem insecure for whatever reason that they keep dudes from being themselves.

Kids can do whatever they like but they have to know that as the "FIRST" ones to do it... they're going to take some heat for it. They can't cry about it, they just have to go through it. Imagine the look the first man with a pink shirt got! WHOA! He had to be really secure and not give a damn... he did it though. Then designers made 'em and some people jumped on it because it was a fad and some people bought 'em because they felt okay about 'em. Some people in 'em had 'em on but felt funny about it and wish the world would just let them live. They were the people that didn't have the pink shirt "swag"... they just wore a pink shirt because everybody else was.

If dudes get piercings it has nothing to do with Hip Hop... end of story. They should be okay with it. My view of Hip Hop is based on being around it looonnnggger than a lot of the new bandwagon jumpers or kids that were born in 1990... when I say that's not Hip Hop it's based on almost the whole BODY of Hip Hop (KRS's, Chuck D's, Rakims, Cool J's to Pac's and Biggie's, not being born into it and becoming a teen in an era where when you decided you'd dress up... pink shirts were in style.

That's like saying Calamari is real soul food nucca cause I know some black people that eat it. Who's to say it's not soul food!!!! You just can't run around calling everything anything you want too.

Piercings are as about as Hip Hop as butterfly tattoo's...
