That's the only thing that annoys me about all this. I don't care about anyone's sexual preference, but don't act like you can't just pretend not to be gay. I can't pretend not to be black. And beyond that, racial rights is one things, rights to sexual preferences is another.
There's states where I can go to jail for having oral sex with a woman on a sunday(or something stupid like that), don't get mad you're not recognized as a legal marriage everywhere, go where you can be. Don't get mad when people don't accept that shyt and put their foot down that they won't. That's like me being mad I can't legally smoke weed everywhere and that my weedsmoke may offend people. Or even better, that's like me being mad I can't take a "wrong turn" in the south.
Difference is, until you do gay shyt, no one knows you to judge. If my black azz smell like loud and walk around in a place where it's legal like Cali, the cops still f**k with me. Because religion has hijacked your social cognition you might not see your personal bias for what it really is, you might see it as a moral position. I have my own biased views against homosexuality but beyond my own personal bias I don't have any moral justification for imposing my point of view upon homosexuals, I also wouldn't be justified in imposing my Atheist views upon other people by inhibiting their personal rights to worship God, if you want to pray in school that's OK, if you want to put up a nativity display during Christmas that's cool too, I will even defend your right to do so, just as long as you are not trying to force the rest of us to comply with your mythological world view.
