UGK is off the chain. I like how Pimp C and Bun B are completely 2 different kinds of rappers delivering the same message. It's like Pimp C gives you the straight dirt like a G would, plain and simple; but Bun B gets intricate with it and tells you every detail of the same situation. That's fukking great.
Pimp C puts together some nice production. I love the way he didn't just sample Bootsy Collin's "Munchies for your Love" for "Diamonds and Wood", he remade it just for the song. Those live instruments sounded so clean. He had a "Screwed Up" chorus and some vocals to back it. Dawg, Pimp C had a vision and something great to show for it. Oh, don't even get me started on "Wood Wheel".
But yeah, it sucks that Pimp C had to get locked up. When he gets out, I'd like to see him try to put some younger dudes out. Not cuz I don't wanna see UGK put out more shyt, it's just that Jive has fukked 'em for so long that I believe it'd be far too difficult for them to ever gain the momentum they had back with "Riding Dirty".
