[VIDEO] Al Sharpton Responds To Lil Wayne's "Misunderstood"

A politician is a politician, doesn't matter if his black or white.
 
I don't pay Al much attention but the thing I don't get is that he shows up for stuff and says something in front of a microphone and nothing happens.

I think he works for George Bush and speaks to keep the black community in check like he's the one on the frontlines ready to take the heat for speaking out... but then goes to the White House and gives George Bush some dap like... "Yeah, that'll keep 'em cool for a minute... good stuff Al, how much you want this time?"

Maybe he really cares... but he never gets anything accomplished that I've seen.

I saw him on TV when Hurricane Katrina happened... anybody heard anything else about Hurricane Katrina? anybody hear Al Sharpton ever mention Hurricane Katrina again?


Now Oprah and her Angel Network... they get gully.

Same thing with the Jena 6. He marched and protested about that and after it was all said and done he's nowhere to be found and some of those kids are still getting into trouble.
 
Couldn't watch the vid but Al Sharpton=Rev. Rollo Goodlove from Boondocks...LOL. He ain't out 4 nothing but the almighty dollar. I don't know about nobody else but he ain't my leader. I still follow Martin, Malcolm & hopefully Barack.:)

He doesn't need to talk crap to get attention because he got all the attention he needs. There is a I hate Wayne thread posted everyday. He also sold 425000 on the first day so he already has attention. Quit hatin
 
haha, i never understood Al Sharptons stance on anything he's ever been invloved in, it seems like he just wants to be there for media attention.
 
doesnt help that the media loves to get HIS opinion on anything black related, they know its Gold as far as ratings/feedback are concerned...
 
Come on now.....EVERYBODY knows that al sharpton is a jackass, that's y they always get his opinion on everything dealing with race, discrimination, etc..... kinda like wen reporters find the dumbest, most ignorant nyggas to interview. If al sharpton was a real nygga that actually changed things and really tries to help black ppl, he would not b getting the same attention in the media......

But yep...I agree with alotta posts made in here so far....in it for the money and attention. Does 1 or 2 things that help in no way, just wants to place the race card right quick and he's MIA :rolleyes:
