That was definitely a 90s flashback. Reminds me of BTNH too.

Dre may have used a Roland with presets for his ghetto bird synth lines but FL ain't half bad.

I've heard some decent G Funk whines that were made with minimogue and use a lot of detune and low pass.

Sampling Bernie Worrell like the G Funk producers is not a bad idea either though.
