G G3 the Groovemaka Guest Mar 5, 2004 #2 I don't know about everything they used... but the Roland D50 and Yamaha DX7 were used heavily by the "New Jack Swingers". Listen to anything that came off of the Uptown Records label at that time and you'll hear the D50 all over it.

R robmixx New member May 3, 2004 #4 Teddy also used a Roland DJ70. That was the sampling synth with the turntable on it that you could scratch samples with and the W30 Sampling keyboard.
