I was wondering if anyone knew how to mimic the way an mpc swing sounds in fruity loops...the fruity loops swing sucks...thanks
naw use the "quantize" feature...its more in-depth...i think "quick quantize" only places everything to hit on time according to the time signature & doesnt add much "swing" to the track...Key_Theory said:How do I change the ppqn? I dont see that option...and wheres the swing in piano roll...Are u talking about the "quick quantize" option?
Key_Theory said:Man...i truly believe this is what fruity loops lacks...it sucks when it comes to this. Thats why the drum patterns sound like ish.

I don't use FL anymore either, but from memory, I know it's the same screen where you enable/assign midi controllers and choose what "velocity" will control.Key_Theory said:How do I change the ppqn? I honestly left it for the total opposite reason than most who are misinformed. I went to Reason for it's limitations. FL was overwhelming me. I had too many VSTis, samples, endless ammounts of everything kinda slowed down my workflow.Sqito said:I would so much like to write something like: "oh, look at you and how professional you got by leaving FL.. cute.." But I know you actually really like(d) it (FL that is)
The PPQ setting can be changed in the OPTIONS-> PROJECT GENERAL SETTINGS btw.![]()
